Spas & Hot Tubs in Charlotte
Different tools for different jobs. An acrylic hot tub is cheaper and you can take it with you. A gunite spa is part of the structure: raised, tiled, shaped to the pool, and running off the pool's own plumbing and automation. It lasts as long as the pool and gets resurfaced with it.
Now, if there is any chance you want one. Adding a spa to a finished pool means re-excavating, re-trenching back to the equipment pad, and cutting up decking you have already paid for. The identical spa costs substantially less as part of the original build.
A raised spa that overflows into the pool, putting moving water and the sound of it in the yard whenever the spa runs. It is the configuration we build most, because it doubles as the pool's water feature and you only pay for it once.
The heater is the variable. A well-covered spa on a correctly sized dedicated heater is cheap to hold at temperature. An undersized heater running flat out to keep up is not, and that is what you get when someone fits whatever is on the shelf. We size yours at design.
