Building in Lake Norman
Lakefront and lake-adjacent lots carry constraints an ordinary yard does not: shoreline buffers, slope down to the water, and permitting that can involve more than one authority depending how close to the shoreline you build. This is also where retaining and drainage dominate the earthwork budget. None of it stops a build. All of it is a reason to walk the site before anyone quotes you a number.
We keep the service radius tight on purpose — roughly an hour of the shop. That's how crews arrive when they said they would, and how we get back out quickly if something needs attention after handoff. Lake Norman is comfortably inside it.
