Planting, Sod & Beds
Landscapes
in Charlotte, NC
Finish the whole yard, not just the pool. Planting plans, sod, beds and final grading by our own crews, so you are not left with a new pool sitting in the middle of a building site.
We take this on as part of a build we are already doing rather than as a job on its own, so it comes in on the same contract and the same schedule as the rest of the yard.

Scope of Work
What's Included in Your Proposal
Every landscape we build in Charlotte is quoted line by line. If something is not on this list, you hear about it before you sign rather than halfway through the dig.
Planting Plan
Species chosen for the light each bed actually gets, and mature size.
Soil Prep
Amended beds, because our clay grows very few things unassisted.
Final Grading
Restoring grade after construction so water runs away from the house.
Sod or Seed
Fescue, bermuda, or zoysia matched to sun and how you'll use the lawn.
Beds & Edging
Defined edges and mulch or gravel that stays where it was put.
Screening
Evergreen structure wherever the neighbours are closer than you would like.
Irrigation
Zones and heads adjusted for the new layout, or added where needed.
Care Plan
What to water, when, and for how long, written down for you.
The Build
From First Walk-Through to First Swim
Consultation
We walk the yard together, take measurements, and talk through your vision for the space.
Quote & 3D Rendering
An itemized quote and a 3D rendering of the yard, drawn to the measurements taken on site.
Design Review
You look it over and tell us what to change. We revise the layout, the features, and the finishes until it's right.
Construction
Six to eight weeks from dig to swimming on a typical build, with transparent updates as we move through the process.
Startup & Handoff
Once water's in, our maintenance crew sets up the system and manages it for the first few weeks to ensure a smooth startup.

In Their Words
If you are thinking of having a pool installed, give Robert a call. Very transparent on timelines and costs. His team of dedicated stone masons and skilled subcontractors created an amazing custom pool for our family despite not having huge amounts of real estate to work with. Our plunge pool, spa and grotto were the perfect size for the family and our friends.

FAQ
Landscapes in Charlotte
They are ours. Charlotte Landscape & Patio was the landscape and hardscape side of the business until we folded it into Aqua Pools & Outdoor Living in 2025: same crews, same owner, one name over the door. It stays on one contract and one schedule with the pool, so nobody gets to point across the property line when something needs sorting out.
More than people expect, provided the soil is amended and the plant suits the light it will get. Our clay holds water all winter and bakes in July, which is brutal on anything shallow-rooted. We plant proven regional performers rather than whatever caught the eye at the nursery in April and died by August.
Fall, comfortably. Roots establish through the cool months and the plant is ready for its first summer. Spring works well too. Planting in July is a serious watering commitment, and we will tell you that rather than take the order and stay quiet.
Some of it, unavoidably. Excavators and gunite trucks are heavy. We protect drives and access routes, and restoration goes into the original scope, so it is a known number at the start rather than a conversation you have at the end.
