Gunite is typically the higher end option. Fully customizable, you can shape it the way you want and the way your yard will take. That said, it takes longer to build, as there are more steps involved. Fiberglass arrives as one molded piece, so the shape and size come from a catalog rather than what you sketch, and the trade for that is a much shorter run of construction in your backyard. We present both and let our customers make an informed decision.

Good question, and an evidently important one if you don't wish to install the pool in your front yard. The shell travels in one piece on a trailer and is craned or machine-set over whatever is in the way. Power lines, a narrow side yard, a neighbor's tree, the width of your street: all of it gets looked at on the site walk. It's not something that's ever ambiguous. You'll have a solid yes/no answer on feasibility as soon as we see the yard.

The ones Kisol and Latham mold. That is the real difference from a custom build: you are choosing from a catalog of shells rather than drawing a shape, and features like benches, a tanning ledge, or steps are molded into the shell that has them. What we design around it is still yours, though. The coping, the deck, the planting, the lighting, and how the whole thing sits in the yard are all drawn to your lot.

Not on the plaster cycle a concrete pool has, which is a large part of why people choose one. The surface is a gel coat over the shell rather than a plaster finish applied in place, so it tends to be smoother and there is no replastering to budget for. It is not indestructible: gel coat can be chipped and it can be repaired, and it does age, but since it's a resin coat rather than a plaster finish, it's actually quite a bit easier to repair. You simply apply a new layer instead of having to start by painstakingly chipping the old stuff out. We'll give you each manufacturer's warranty along with your estimate.
